Usually everybody tries to maximise one’s own benefit.
Already children try to get the biggest piece of the cake.
We are so used to that concept and it can be categorized as usual and ok.
Yet as Christians we know that this is not all. There is something bigger.
Because nobody is perfect, nobody can live up to the holy standards of God, so there needs to be a way back to God. Jesus has bridged that gap between us and God. That is the good news and a much greater reason for joy than simply to maximise the own profit as we are used to. A much better benefit.
