Listen "January 27 FCC Ruling Update: What Real Estate Agents Need to Know w/ David Sanders"

Episode Synopsis

For most real estate agents, cold calls, mass texts and emails are the bread and butter of our lead generation efforts. Digital outreach is a highly effective sales strategy, but with the rise of tech, the explosion of scam calls and increased consumer pushback, this method has faced legislative scrutiny.  On January 27, new FCC regulations were supposed to take effect, but they didn't. Things are likely to stay the same, but that doesn't mean we shouldn't make sure we're doing what's necessary to be compliant.  The last thing we want to do is end up in the crosshairs of the FCC - the fines are heavy and it can do a ton of damage to our business.  What do we need to do to be compliant with our consumer communications? How do we make sure we get all the benefits of consumer communication, without the consequences?  In this episode, we're joined by legal counsel, David B. Sanders. He shares what happened to the new FCC regulations, and how we can stay on the right side of the law.  As a business, you don't want to be on the FCC's radar. Take the steps to make sure that you're in compliance with this because the fines are hefty. -David Sanders   Three Things You'll Learn In This Episode  The current state of the FCC's rulings Are the days of real estate agents doing mass calls, emails and texts about to be over?  How to stay off the FCC's radar One of the most important things we all have to do is keep track of a do-not-call list.
