She and her team have built DataForIndia.com, which aims to expand everyone’s understanding of India through data. The project takes public data, makes it usable, and helps consumers derive descriptions and insights about the country. Rukmini has also authored the book “Whole Numbers and Half Truths: What Data Can and Cannot Tell Us About Modern India”.
