As a former elementary school teacher who participated in tons of IEP meetings, I will say the process feels different going through it as a parent. With my daughter recently transitioning from homeschool to public school, I went through the IEP process and I have some tips to share that I'm sure will help all parents and guardians who have to go through this process as well.
