From Supermodel to Modern Mystic, A former fashion model, Anna Gatmon, PhD, is an engaging speaker with a unique life story. She describes herself as a catalyst of transformation. Anna has spent the last two decades on an inner quest into the workings of our world, the root cause of our suffering, the nature of transformation, and how to face the challenges of our times .In her new book, Shift Calling, Anna shows readers how to accelerate their spiritual growth by making 1° shifts that produce profound, paradigm-changing, and long-lasting outcomes. Born in Israel into an alcoholic family, Anna grew up with a severe stutter, undiagnosed learning challenges, and anorexic tendencies. Although she had very low self-esteem, a major shift would transform her circumstances, whisking her away to a 10-year career in Paris to model fashions designed by Yves Saint-Laurent and Jean Paul Gautier, and appearing in some of the most prominent fashion magazines. Despite her material success, something was missing. So, Anna went back to school earning a PhD from the California Institute of Integral Studies concentrating on facilitating transformative learning with individuals and groups. Following a life-changing experience at the Findhorn Foundation in her early 40s, she realized her calling to help others have similar life-changing experiences. Her first, and award-winning book, Living a Spiritual Life in a Material World, attracted more than 100 audiences including a TEDx talk in Wilmington. Anna hosts the online Expansive Community for those who feel called to engage in integrating their personal work, spiritual work and world work.
