As a registered dietitian, Minh-Hai Alex understood the importance of nutrition to overall health. But as she helped clients regain a sense of calm and joy around food, she realized that well-being was about a lot more than what we eat. Minh-Hai Alex is a registered dietician and founder of Mindful Nutrition in Seattle, WA. Her work has been featured by Self Magazine, CNN, The Seattle Times, and Refinery29. Minh-Hai is also mama to two young boys, a dear friend, and one of my go-to people for insightful conversations about personal development, psychology, and really GOOD food! Minh-Hai and I met several years ago when we were panelists at a women's health event, and became fast friends not only because of our shared philosophy of health and eating, but because Minh-Hai is one of the funniest people I know.
