Listen "What's Holding You Back? Exploring Inner Work with Angela Potes"
Episode Synopsis
This week, I’m joined by returning guest Angela Potes. Angela and I first met five years ago at a self-compassion intensive retreat in New York, led by Kristin Neff, the pioneer researcher in this field. At the time, Angela was completing her doctorate in psychiatry, but she has since left academia to explore the therapeutic uses of compassion, particularly through Gabor Maté's "Compassionate Inquiry."
If you want to hear more about her journey, check out episode 19. Today, Angela works with entrepreneurs and professionals, helping them overcome internal barriers such as imposter syndrome, work-life balance challenges, and success sabotage.
In this special episode, Angela will guide me through a live compassionate inquiry session, offering you a firsthand experience of this transformative self-awareness process. It’s a true gift of self-compassion to explore what’s happening inside of us daily.
I’m a bit nervous, but let’s do this!
