TotalSpace was founded in 1993.  30 years on, Sarah merged her practice with Grieve Gillett Architects.  This interview was done prior to the merge and our conversation ranges an expansive field.  It’s an inspiring story of how architecture can work alongside teaching and learning, philosophy, philanthropy, and advocacy and of how embracing opportunities can unleash a fulfilling career inside and outside of architecture.Sarah is a thoughtful and articulate architect and I very much enjoyed learning about her life and work thus far.
