1. If you don’t know what to say then don’t say anything at all. Always remember, your words carry weight and bearing in the life of others. Choose them wisely.
2. You cannot smoke or drink or shop or eat your problems away.
3. Don’t compare yourself to anyone. No two people are alike. Remember the saying, If you ask a fish to climb a tree, it can put in the effort with grit and will power. But ultimately the monkey is going to fly right by it to the top of the tree and leave the fish feeling like a failure. Why would you compare a fish with a monkey? Similarly if you are a parent, understand that your child is unique and you will only limit him or her if you compare them to other children.
4. It is ok to cry, it is ok to show your emotions. Don’t keep your feelings bottled up. There is always someone who will listen to your story. 5. Never make a decision when you are desperate because in most likelihood, it will be a bad decision.
