King David was anointed on three separate occassions. I Samuel 16:13, II Samuel 2:4 and II Samuel 5:3. Yet, it wasn't until that third anointing and possibly 20 years after the first anointing that he became King of all Israel. Life takes twists and turns on this journey, but God is faithful.
