It Was Never Okay: Forward Not Backward is a national initiative urging Canadians to take action against the systemic barriers that continue to affect people with Down syndrome. She says that the campaign calls on all Canadians to sign a petition demanding equal access to education, healthcare, employment and recreation activities.
