The devil is working hard in the world today to close off people from God and from each other. God is being pushed out of the public square, and people are isolating themselves in their political and religious enclaves, holed up behind their tablet and cell phone screens. Dialogue is minimal and the art of communication has been replaced with the science of verbal warfare. The word of God plainly spells out that if people are to have the love based relationships we need so desperately that we must be totally open to God and to one another. What about you? Are you open to your Creator? To your family? To the people around you? Or have you closed yourself off to the world?
