This week I wanted to take a break from Biology and focus on what is going on in the world with regards to racial injustice towards black people. As a black educator I have seen the power of education first hand not just academic but also with life lessons. With this current climate, I felt like a life lesson was really needed.
In this episode we deal with what is a racial bias and what are the negative effects of having one, especially when it comes to black people.  We discuss the new face of racism in the form of microaggressions and what you can do to support the Black Lives Matter movement.
