The Scriptures play a CRUCIAL role in the life of believers!  Without savoring the Word of God, we cannot know the Will of God.  It's that simple.  In this message we are finally introduced to EZRA, the books namesake.  Ezra is described as a man skilled in the Law of God, a student of God's Word.  He has a passion to teach the Holy Scriptures to others, knowing that the restoration in Jerusalem can only be sustained by a commitment to live according to God's Law.  We have much to learn from Ezra here.  Our world needs TRUTH today. Moral and social reforms are ineffective without being rooted in God's Law.  The church must be heralds of the Word in our culture!  Message preached on Sunday, January 20, 2022 at Parker Memorial's DeArmanville Campus.  This is message five in our series "Life After Exile" from the Ezra-Nehemiah narratives.
