Listen "The Great Failed Experiment "
Episode Synopsis
For our entire lives, most of the western world has been witness to a great experiment. In the 20th century a new way of thinking arose called humanism. Humanism starts with the idea that God is a best ineffectual and at worst powerless to help us. "No Deity will save us; we must save ourselves" the humanists declared. We were taught to put faith in humanity. If we've learned anything in recent years, humanity has proven itself unworthy of such hope. So the experiment has failed. To whom shall we go? To the worlds' one true Savior, of course. In Mark 7:21-23 Jesus tells us what's going on inside humanity and warns us against placing our hope in man. In short, this sermon shows how true hope is in the Lord.
