It’s the terrifying feeling that we don’t measure up. We’re unpresentable. Unwelcome and unwanted. The bad news? Shame sticks to us like a bad batch of slime. We can’t wipe it off and we can’t drive it away. The good news? Someone came who can take your shame away—someone who can say, not “Shame ON you!” but “Shame OFF you!”
