So, in this episode, I want to share with you the number one reason why I believe that most online customer journeys and Sales Funnels, even websites fail. There are there is a three-part framework that you must go through when you are creating any kind of online asset. You have to launch it, you have to learn. And then you launch, learn and earn. And the single biggest mistake that most people make. And the reason why most online assets fail is because they don't do step two, they don't take the time to learn, they're impatient, they want to go from launching to earning and aren't prepared to wait.
They're not prepared to do the hard work; they're not prepared to learn. And that's a massive challenge. Because the most successful businesses out there the most successful business owners out there are prepared to do the hard work they're prepared to, to learn, they're prepared to launch something and accept that it might not work first time around, they're prepared to launch it and actually have an expectation that they're going to have to run split tests or a B tests, they're going to have to try a slightly different version of their messaging, they might have to try a different title in their landing pages, they may have to completely rework their offer. But that learning period is the difference between a successful, scalable online business, and somebody that just constantly tries to reinvent the wheel, coming up with the next new great idea. And always going after the next shiny thing, never actually really delivering any core value in their business. Certainly nothing that is predictable, scalable, and will help them to achieve the results that they want in their business.
So let me give you some examples of this. Now, when I work with any customers, part of the process that we go through is before we build any online assets, whether it's Sales Funnels, websites, or whatever it might be, we map everything out. Everything starts with a mapping journey. So, once you have your Customer Journey max out, you have absolute clarity about the various assets, you need to create the landing pages, the downloadable guides, the marketing, automations, and follow up systems, all those kinds of things sit within the Funnel Map, and the Customer Journey map so that you're really clear on what you're building and why.
