Episode Synopsis
This week we start, as is tradition, with a market update from the amazing Annie AcMoody, who also brings us a last minuet, very exciting announcement from USDA regarding the renewal of the CFAP program. Annie's good news is followed by a quick roundup from this week's board meeting with WUD Board President Devin Gioletti, special guest Dr. Michael Payne from UC Davis/CDQAP joins us with some some valuable information about employee/livestock safety in light of the smokey skies, and information and resources on how to prepare for wildfire and PSPS season on California dairies. We round out the episode with an update from Rashell Segura at LUC and a few tips from the Field Staff regarding animal activist activities.
