Vera Sharon Iremuah Ohioma is a tourism enthusiast committed to promoting Africa as a top tourism destination globally. She is the founder of GATEHUB, a company focused on driving projects with investment potentials to market-ready tourism and hospitality products. The company is also a visible player in developing intra-African tourism trade as a destination marketing, consultancy, advisory and facilitator.
Vera is the lead initiator of the Tourism Invest Africa (TIA) project leveraging the AFCFTA to fill the gaps in investment opportunities and African tourism industries. She serves as an Ambassador in Nigeria to the prestigious African Tourism Board (ATB), and an advisory board member on sustainable tourism of the African Association of Women in Tourism and Hospitality (AAWTH). She is a writer with the award-winning online travel magazine, Travel Employees Network.
