As an opera singer, Tislam Swift uses his gift to inspire others and shed light on the art. Currently, he is pursuing his doctorate in music, opera, and voice at Indiana University Jacobs School of Music. He focuses his time on creating spaces for people to reveal and grow their gifts. In addition to graduating from Morehouse College, he is also a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc. In the episode, Tislam shares how it is important to re-charge in order to use his gift in his service to his community. While world-renowned artists like Beyonce are expected to produce, we all need moments to recharge and regroup when we reach our breaking points.  By balancing utilizing his gift, and recharging when needed, Tislam is able to find the right balance.
