Missing from official comments and press reporting about the murder this weekend of three Americans in Syria and sixteen Jewish Australians on a Sydney beach is the word “jihad.” That failure is deliberate – a symptom of, and a contributor to, a metastasizing danger.
Fifteen years ago, our group called “Team B II” published a book entitled, Sharia: The Threat to America. It challenged the policy that prevailed then – and continues to operate today, namely, ignoring acts of violence clearly animated by that totalitarian Islamic doctrine, depicting them instead as random incidents of “terrorism” or “extremism.”
Today, sharia-supremacists tied to or inspired by the Muslim Brotherhood are poised to engage in much more jihadist violence, both elsewhere and here, and on a far greater scale.
