The prophets Elijah and Elisha are significant in the Old Testament. In many ways, the works of the prophets — miracles, teachings, and behavior — point to God’s way of dealing with human beings, both in justice and mercy. Seeing God work in our lives is often because we’ve made space for God to work in our lives.
