About Francione
Francione Sousa Neff stands as a beacon of resilience and transformation. Her narrative, from adversity to advocacy, unfolds as a testament to the human spirit's capacity to triumph over tribulation. Coparenting with Ammon Neff, she embraces her role as a mother to two beloved children: Ana Rosa (6) and Preston (2).
Born and bred in Brazil, Francione's formative years were shaped by the profound influence of her grandmother Rosa. Despite enduring the challenges of being a foster child, Francione's determination remained steadfast. At a pivotal moment at the age of 13, she bravely sought refuge from adversity and abuse within her family, setting forth on a journey of self-discovery.
Her transformative odyssey mirrors a journey from scarcity to abundance, isolation to belonging, and adversity to purpose. Rising above a history of deprivation, neglect, and instability, Francione emerged as a staunch advocate for those navigating similar arduous paths.
Navigating the complexities of an autoimmune ailment stemming from past trauma, Francione gleaned invaluable insights into resilience, combating depression, and embracing optimism amidst adversity. Upon immigrating to the United States, she recognized her own life as a testament to the foster care system, galvanizing her commitment to supporting the foster community and embodying the ideals of liberty and opportunity as a proud U.S. citizen.
As a fervent advocate for personal growth, Francione draws inspiration from mentors Tony Robbins and Dean Graziose, harnessing the power of the underdog to motivate and empower others.
At the heart of Francione's mission lies The Hope Foundation for Foster Youth Housing, a sanctuary dedicated to providing foster youth aging out of the system with guidance, support, and tools for rebuilding their lives. Her dedication to fostering resilience and empowerment among foster and former foster children extends through initiatives like The Bag of Hope and The Foster Children Housing Loan Project (FCHLP), aimed at providing essential resources for healing and growth.
Francione invites others to join her in supporting The Bag of Hope Initiative with  TLC Engineer Women's Initiative through donations to The Bag of Hope Project from May 13 - 31, 2024. Together, let us ignite lasting change and empower foster youth to become architects of their own destinies.
Thank you for listening today. A huge thank you again to Francione for sharing her story with our community. Until next time, live boldly!
