The communities in the corridor are continuing to grow and for years there’s been a push for regional transit. Today, we are paying much higher than average gas prices, practically the same amount as Vancouver, whom are paying a large transit excise tax, that is going into the coffers of corporations instead of funding a regional system in Sea to Sky Country. We asked Councillor Susan Chapelle and Squamish Connector‘s Felipe Angel to sit down and delve into what needs to be done to finally get a transit system in place.
