During today's conversation on Scripture & Story, we are finishing our four-part series on surrender, an essential, yet not always easy, part of the Christian life.   Did you know there are different levels of surrender, all of which affect our relationship with God? Initial surrender to Christ leads to salvation. But there are times of greater surrender during our lives that bring deeper intimacy with God and greater effectiveness in service. The more areas of our lives we surrender to Him, the more room there is for the filling of the Holy Spirit.   In this episode we discuss the blessings that come with surrender. We lay everything down in surrender as an act of faith, but God doesn’t leave us in that place. We lay everything down to gain infinitely more.
