During today's conversation on Scripture & Story, we are continuing in our series on the book of Isaiah!   Today we cover Isaiah 9-12, which is week 3 in your study called A Holy God. I’m guessing this week’s biblical text got all up in your business. It sure was convicting for me! Isaiah challenged God’s people to rely on Him alone, but sadly they often turned to other nations for help. Before we condemn them too quickly, we need to examine our own hearts. How often do we turn to lesser things instead of leaning fully on the God who created and redeemed us? And all the while God is inviting us to turn to Him for strength and deliverance. He is so worthy of our trust.
