Listen "#3 Romans 8: No Comparison"
Episode Synopsis
During today's conversation on Scripture & Story, we are smack dab in the middle of the greatest chapter in all of the Bible! Romans 8 is filled with rich theological doctrines and stunning promises; it's brimming with beautiful truths about how you and I can live in the Spirit. Today we focus on Romans 8:18-25. No doubt, if you've taken as many trips around the sun as I have (44 to be exact), you have encountered some difficult times along the way. We all face seasons of suffering. Unfortunately no one makes it through this life unscathed by the brokenness that has permeated our world. But Paul says something so audacious in our passage today: The sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing to the glory that will be revealed to us. Wow. Let that settle in for a moment. And then join me as we bask in this glorious truth during our conversation on Scripture & Story. P.S. I have a gift for you!
