Directed by Deming Chen, ALWAYS follows Gong Youbin, a child born into a poor Chinese family in the countryside of Hunan who hasn't seen his mother since he was three months old. However, Gong finds a way to interpret his world through the eyes of poetry, an outlet that allows his imagination to express his feelings.
