After making his name in the NHS and a brief spell at the AA, Simon Skinner entered the financial services sector, ultimately becoming Chief Executive of AEGON Ireland. However, personal circumstances led him to return across the Irish Sea and he has spent the past four years turning around the fortunes of the National Trust for Scotland.
