SCOPE is a podcast designed to engage with Nazarene pastors and leaders on theSouth Central Ohio District, but anyone is welcome to listen. The name stands for SouthCentral Ohio Podcast Exchange to highlight the exchange of ideas and best practices.SCOPE is also designed to offer a healthy dose of inspiration. The episodes are hostedby Sam Barber, the District Superintendent for the Church of the Nazarene in centraland southeastern Ohio. A former local church pastor of more than 30 years, Sam holdsa Doctor of Ministry from Nazarene Theological Seminary and Master’s Degrees fromDuke University and Malone University. Sam loves the church and pastors and is eagerto find innovative as well as time-proven ways to resource Nazarene leaders. SCOPEhas a studio at the SCO district office in Grove City, OH, and is produced by Jill Barber,Sam’s wife. SCOPE seeks to engage with pastors, leaders, church folks, and anyoneinterested in pastoral issues in the Church of the Nazarene.
