Interview with Scott Wexler
We discuss his involvement in sci-fi/fantasy fandom, in Louisiana and the various conventions he has founded, including Crescent City Con which ran for twenty years, as well as putting on the 1986 Worldcon in New Orleans LA.
Aside from his conventions Scott also was directly responsible for the fiber optic lighting that illuminated the various panel displays, and 3D models for the iconic "Star Trek The Experience" which was a themed attraction which opened in January 1998 at the Las Vegas Hilton in Paradise, Nevada.
Scott also talks about his gateway into sci-fi, his friendship with
George RR Martin of "Game Of Thrones" fame, and the founding of the
New Orleans Science Fiction & Fantasy Festival.
