Listen "Episode 45: Our Mid-Life Crisis Episode"
Episode Synopsis
In this week's episode, we discuss the research on learning progressions in science education by examining two articles. The first article (https://dhammer.phy.tufts.edu/home/publications_files/HammerandSikorskiLPessay.pdf) is from Hammer & Sikorski (2015) which examines the implications of complexity for research on learning progressions. The second article (https://inquiryproject.terc.edu/about/presentations-reports/Wiser-2009-LeaPS.pdf) outlines a way that learning progressions can be used as a tool for curriculum development.
