We ran a Christmas theme during December and since it's February, why not do a Black History theme? We start off with the classic masterpiece, The Color Purple, directed by Steven Spielberg. Alice Walker's excellently written novel, beautifully transformed into a movie, starting the acting careers of Whoopi Goldburg and Oprah Winfrey.
