Listen "Episode 178 | Leisha Pickering; Musee Bath Company"
Episode Synopsis
Are you ready to change the world? Well, you will be once you finish this podcast with the awesome, inspiring CEO, mother of five, change maker Leisha Pickering. This endeavor began after seeing a need for employment in the local community. Leisha had the idea that a quality bath product, made by hand, could provide jobs for individuals. Moreover, she holds a guiding principle that everyone has value and that everyone should be valued - looking at one’s potential, not simply his or her past. Because of this, the Musee Makers are often women in recovery, individuals with disabilities, and others in need of work. It is Musee’s hope to create an environment of self-dignity and a place where people feel loved and encouraged. From the humble beginnings in her kitchen, Musee quickly established itself in the bath product industry. Currently, Musee is the largest wholesale producer of bath balm in the country with 3,000 partnered stores in all 50 states. Musee has launched soaks, candles, soaps, shower steamers, and lotions with plans for new products in the near future. For more information visit @musee_bath or www.museebath.com
