Listen "4-18-23: Avoiding pain is avoiding life"
Episode Synopsis
I would love to hear from you, just send me text and let me know what you think of the podcast. This week I am talking about baseball and how it compares to life. Last weekend I was at my grandson’s little league game and saw a young kid get thrown out of a game because I ran into the catcher even though he tried to stop himself from running into him. This type of over safety in youth sports and professional sports for that matter, are teaching people young and old that you should avoid pain. Avoid getting hurt at all costs and don’t ever hurt anyone else. The problem is that getting hurt is part of sports and part of the game of life. If you try to avoid getting hurt at all costs you won’t ever risk anything and you will end up lonely, bitter and frustrated. Visit my website: saxinthemorning.com for merchandise and other links.
