This is part 2 of a 12 portion (parashah) series in the book of Genesis. This week’s Torah portion is Parashah Noach. Parashah Noach consists of Genesis 6:9 to Genesis 11:32. Noach is the Hebrew name for “Noah.”
The name of this Torah portion is taken from Genesis 6:9.
“9 These [are] the generations of Noah: Noah was a just man [and] perfect in his generations, [and] Noah walked with God.” (Genesis 6:9 KJV)
