As the 2024/2025 NHL Season begins. We thought there would be no one better to sit down with other then the Perth Thunder Captain himself in Jamie Woodman.  Pivotal in Jamie's early career he discuss the key relationships with coaches & how the good old saying of its about "who you know" lead to his opportunities overseasAt 16 years old Jamie made the move to Canada and joined a junior league in Alberta playing for the Banff academy and effectively playing against grown men. We discuss the experience of playing in Canada working around through the Junior leagues in America and then finding his way back home to Perth and Captaining his home state team here in WA, The Perth Thunder. During our chat with Jamie he describes the strength and growth of the AIHL and constant improvement he has seen over the years. As well representing his country at World Champions around the globe, however preparing for his spot on the roster for the next one here in Melbourne for 2025.
