I talk about how there is nothing equitable about this topic and how it is a problem that needs to be recognized. The audience can expect to hear about what overrepresentation leads to, how students are affected by being placed in Special Education, and how the education system is trying to fix their mistakes. I hope that the audience is brought to realization that there is disproportionality in Special Education classrooms and that they should destroy any bias about minority students if they already have any.
