Between 2023 and 2024 Natasha Moreno has already released 2 EPs and one album – all self published on her bandcamp page. On her first release „Unaware“ with viennese label Sama Recordings her interest in exploring psychoacoustic effects of repetition continues. Starting with analog feedback loops, she mainly uses acoustic instruments (guitar & piano), modular synthesizer (Buchla Easel Command), and vocals to create a homogenous sound. By enriching her compositions with personal narratives, Natasha is able to transform everyday memories into powerful sonic experiences.

ARTIST BIO

Natasha Moreno (born 1993 in Minsk) is a live sound artist who uses modular synthesizers to create melancholic and noisy soundscapes . After completing her Master's degree in Chemistry in Moscow, she moved to Vienna in 2016 to study art at the University of Applied Sciences. During her studies, she realized that her most comfortable artistic media were sound and poetry. Through her scientific approach combined with an artistic perception her work merges into something unexpectedly simple yet complex.
