To know what love is, you must know what it’s not. There are many misrepresentation of love in today’s society, misguiding the youth on what is true love and how to identify love. In today’s society love is determine by our five senses: sight, hearing, smell, taste and touch. We summarized our love for our counterparts by our emotions. Although you use your senses to show your affection, your senses are not the foundation of love nor does it validate it. That agape, unconditional love that many seeks from a mate; though it’s beautiful; it’s costly and painful. The ultimate example of that love was demonstrate by Jesus Christ on the cross. Therefore love is VALUE; you are so valuable to God that He gave himself as a ransom to save you. That person that seek after your love what is he/she willing to give up for you? Love is a CHOICE, you must choose it and it must choose you. Love is a LAW, law it’s has no feelings. True Love has NO REASON. Love is CARING for a person, anticipating a person’s needs and meet them before they ask. Christ died for you not after you sinned, but before you sinned.
