Today we are talking about the different branches of Mormonism. While the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is formally called such, it is often referred to as Mormonism. We ask to be called by the proper name, though we know that we've long been known as Mormons. Our religion started with Joseph Smith but then many different sects broke off from the original church (many claiming to be the original church). We certainly believe in freedom of religion, including different sects of Mormonism, but we also don't support all the different beliefs found within the different sects of Mormonism.
