Alma the elder and King Mosiah die.  We point out the many correlations and similarities to the U.S. government we see today.  The stability of the reign of judges is put to the test immediately when Nehor slays Gideon.   Alma the younger is placed as the chief judge and high priest of the church and immediately has to defend the church's beliefs and the rights of the people in battle.  Amlici attempts to win over the voice of the people but when rejected, he rebels and stirs the people up unto anger.   Alma the younger is fed up with the continual dissensions of the church and the Lamanite attempts to put his people in bondage.  He battles and pursues any and all enemies.  Dissenters mark themselves to be distinguished among the Lamanites.  Alma sees success and baptizing many converts.    Support the showThanks for listening!
