Platform 2 starts to lag behind after it discusses the idea of the "Anointed Ones" and Dagan Babi, their commander on Sadisflix Stream. Even Natalia Tena's portrayal of the atrocities he and his group commit is insufficient to pique curiosity. Toeing the line between justice and villainy, Babi should be a compelling enough character. However, there isn't much exploration done, making his entrance and acts unmemorable. Though not strictly required, the appearance of a pivotal character from the previous movie upends the order of events. The original plan for The Platform 2 was to be a sequel rather than a prequel. A haphazard attempt has been made to elaborate on a relationship to the first picture by introducing a surprise character in the execution. It's a small Easter egg at best.
