First and foremost, Ben is the father of two boys. He is also a two-time United States Marine Corps combat Veteran OEF/OIF, and the founder of Stars and Scars. With all that, he is also a Sacred Sons community leader and facilitator.  Stars and Scars is a not-for-profit organization that is dedicated to nurture emotional, mental, and spiritual wounds resulting from war and military service. They believe in cultivating and harvesting the wisdom earned through trauma. They offer genuine homecoming, reintegration, and a path for post-traumatic growth to troops, veterans, families, and communities.
