The Sabbath commandment when taken literally calls upon us to rest on the seventh day of the week. A day of rest will only be logical if the day is a 24 hour period bounded by an evening and morning as indicated by Scriptures. And certainly so, the world has always run on a 24 hour daily cycle since creation. This Bible truth is therefore diametrically opposite to various widespread teachings of evolution which says that the world created itself in hundreds of millions of years! Anytime you keep the weekly Sabbath you are observing a weekly monumental evidence against the man-made doctrines of evolution.
