Listen "1528: Labor's Plan for New Home Buyers in SA"
Episode Synopsis
SA Labor has announced a plan to help first home buyers enter the market.
If elected on 19 March, a Labor State Government would introduce a specific home loan product for first home buyers to help them enter the market while also supporting the construction of new homes in South Australia.
In an increasingly competitive market, the party would work with Government-backed lender HomeStart to develop a low-deposit home loan, only requiring a 3 per cent deposit.
Shadow Minister for Housing Andrea Michaels joins Jennie Lenman to discuss.
