Today on RÚV English Radio, a very iconic site in the east of Iceland.

The blue church in Seyðisfjörður has become one of the most recognisable buildings in Iceland. The church has established itself as a popular visitor attraction, especially after the street leading to it was painted in rainbow colours.

Darren visited Seyðisfjarðarkirkja with Aðalheiður Borgþórsdóttir, former mayor of the town, and who was involved in founding the concert series that has taken place annually in the church since 1998.
