Today, RÚV English Radio looks at the 28th Viking Festival, just starting in Hafnarfjörður.

The Viking Festival in Hafnarfjörður (https://www.facebook.com/events/478433881296611/?active_tab=discussion) starts today, June 13, running to June 18. The festival is at Víðistaðatún Park (https://maps.app.goo.gl/7epc3CiuwVHfePdZ6) and offers a variety of activities including battle reenactments, a medieval market, and traditional food.

Darren spoke to Salka Jóhannsdóttir from Viking group Rimmugýgur (https://www.facebook.com/rimmugygur), who are behind the festival.
