Today, RÚV English Radio hears about a new book inspired by and for intercultural families in Iceland.

Alondra Silva Munoz moved here from Chile, bringing her Spanish linguistic background with her. Now, she and her Icelandic husband Helgi Silva Þorsteinsson have written a book called Áki Tahiel’s Magical Multilingual World / Töfrandi fjöltyngdur heimur Áka Tahiel (https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61555164036328), presented in Icelandic and English, which tells the story of a six-year-old boy who speaks two languages at home.
