💁🏻 Concept: Transcendence of God
To say that God is transcendent means He exists above, beyond, and independent of His creation. He is not bound by time, space, or matter. Unlike His creatures, He is wholly “other” and infinitely greater than all He has made. Scripture reveals God’s transcendence in passages like Isaiah 55:8–9 “My thoughts are not your thoughts…” It reminds us that He rules over all, cannot be reduced to human categories, and deserves our awe-filled worship.

(Psalm 113:4–6; 1 Kings 8:27; Jeremiah 23:23–24; Acts 17:24–25)

Three Reasons to Trust God:
1. God is both transcendent and immanent.
2. God’s thoughts are infinitely higher.
3. God’s ways are infinitely better.

2. Rely on God’s plan and wisdom.
3. Respond with complete trust.

🙏🏼 Prayer:
Almighty God, I stand in awe of Your majesty and transcendence. Your thoughts are higher than mine, and Your ways are beyond my comprehension. Thank You that though You are exalted above all creation, You graciously stoop down to love, save, and guide me. Teach me to worship You with holy reverence and to trust fully in Your sovereign wisdom. May my life bring honor to Your name, the One who is above all yet near to His people. In Jesus’ name, amen.
